Aalimiskaad (KAAB TV) – A heavy bombardment occurred last night in the Miirale area of the Calmiskaad mountains in the Bari region, leading to the reported deaths of many Daesh members.
The Puntland counter-terrorism operation command has confirmed that 25 Daesh fighters were killed in the attack as they attempted to regroup.
The strike was carried out by Puntland allies, particularly the drones of the United Arab Emirates government, which targeted the Daesh stronghold where the members were stationed.
Reliable news sources indicate that 20 additional Daesh members were killed in the past 24 hours in the Dhadar and Miirale areas while attempting to disperse. They were reportedly headed toward the Wangable well in the Qandala district, about 25 kilometers away.
As the second phase of the Anti-Terrorism Operation in Aalimiskaad comes to a close, the third phase is set to proceed, according to the command of the Puntland Anti-Terrorism Operation.
