Aalimiskaad (KAAB TV) – An officer, Mohamed Mohamud Butaan, who was a member of the Storm Brigade of the Puntland Daravian Forces, was killed in a mine explosion today.
The late Mohamed Mohamud Butaan, known as Jiib, died in a mine explosion while he was clearing the area of Qurac area of the Jejeel stream, where the army is conducting a mine search operation today, after the Daesh terrorists were removed.
Officer Jib Butaan is widely remembered for having caught a small plane carrying explosives in his hand last month, which Daesh militias threw into the Puntland forces during the operation in Al-Miskaad mountains in the Bari region.
