Bosaso (Kaab TV) – Yusuf Bootaan, a former member of the Puntland State Parliament, was killed in the city of Bosaso, the capital of Bari region, allegedly by his son, Mohamed Yusuf.
According to reports, Mohamed Yusuf stabbed his father to death with a knife. Family members stated that the suspect was suffering from mental illness.
The late Yusuf Botan is expected to be buried in Bosaso.
The house where the incident occurred, located in the Al-Aqsa neighborhood, was crowded with relatives, friends, and local residents who were shocked by the tragedy.
Security forces also arrived at the scene following the incident.
