Hargeisa (Kaab TV) — A delegation from Puntland has arrived in Hargeisa to participate in the May 18 celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of Somaliland’s declaration of independence.
The delegation is led by Yasiin Muse Boqor, a member of the Darood royal family, who previously stated that they respect Somaliland’s right to existence and that they support Somaliland’s secession.
“We recognize the existence of Somaliland. Puntland supports Somaliland, and we are ready to cooperate and work together,” Yasin Muse Bokhor said.
This is the first time a delegation from Puntland has traveled to Hargeisa to take part in celebrations commemorating Somaliland’s self-declared independence day.
