Tensions Rise as U.S. Threatens Iran, Turkey Warns of Regional Instability

|

Ankara (KAAB TV) — President Donald Trump has once again issued warnings of potential military action against Iran if Tehran refuses to abandon its nuclear weapons program.

Amid escalating tensions, the United States and Iran are set to engage in direct talks next week. However, there are growing concerns that if the negotiations fail, the U.S., potentially backed by Israel, may launch a military strike on Iran.

In response to these developments, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan strongly cautioned against any military action targeting Iran. He emphasized that such an attack could have far-reaching consequences, destabilizing not just Iran, but the entire Middle East.

“An attack on Iran would trigger widespread instability across the region,” Fidan stated, stressing that the Middle East is currently ill-equipped to absorb the shock of a major conflict involving Iran.

Meanwhile, the Iranian government has issued a stern warning of its own, vowing to retaliate against any Middle Eastern country that permits the U.S. to use its territory as a launchpad for military operations. This threat has only deepened fears of a broader regional conflict should hostilities begin.
