New York (KAAB TV) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with Fox News following his meeting at the White House, stated he would not offer support or an apology to former President Trump. Zelensky emphasized that even if Trump were to return to the White House, he would not seek to rekindle their relationship, although he acknowledged the importance of preserving ties with key allies.
Meanwhile, President Trump claimed that Zelensky had attempted to re-engage with the White House, expressing his willingness for dialogue, but was unable to do so.
Leaders from Europe and Canada have continued to support Zelensky’s position on the Ukraine conflict. Some European officials noted that the war in Ukraine is not only about defending Ukraine itself but also about defending Europe.
The ongoing support from European nations seems to be easing tensions that arose during Zelensky’s visit to the White House, a visit that highlighted significant differences in perspectives on the Ukraine war between Europe and the United States. These differences suggest that crucial days and weeks lie ahead in the geopolitical landscape.
