Saudi Government Sentenced A Somali Man To Death For Importing Drugs Into Saudi Arabia

|

Riyadh (KAAB TV) – The Saudi government executed a Somali man today, after it was found that he imported drugs into Saudi Arabia.

This Somali man who was executed was one of 45 Somali prisoners who were sentenced to death by the Saudi government after they were found to have smuggled Mukhaadarad into Saudi Arabia.

Somalia’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Aws Haji Yusuf, said that he was shocked by the executions carried out by the Saudi government today, and said that the remaining 44 prisoners will discuss with the Saudi government how they could be saved.

There is a law in Saudi Arabia that states that anyone who is found bringing drugs into the country will be executed by hanging, which cannot be revoked, as this sentence has already been carried out for many people who have been found guilty of that crime.
