CAIRO (KAAB TV) – The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, met in Cairo with the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohamed Ahmed Al-Yamahi, who is on an official visit to Egypt.
Discussions aimed at the role of the Arab Parliament in supporting the governance, unity, and independence of Somalia at the regional and international levels.
President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud emphasized that the government of Somalia is committed to enhancing cooperation between the Arab Parliament, such as the exchange of experiences and the unification of the Arab position on international affairs.
Governor Al-Yamahi praised the cooperation between Somalia and Arab countries in the development of shared Arab issues.
As part of his visit, President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi signed a joint political call in Cairo, which will enhance relations between the two countries through strategic cooperation.
