Lasaanood (KAAB TV) – The SSC-Khatumo administration announced that they will seize military power in Eerigabo district.
Also, the leader of the SSC-Khatumo Abdiqadir Firdhiye who gave a speech last night at an event held in Lasaanod announced that they will take military power in the city of Eerigabo, the capital of Sanaag region.
On the other hand, the town of Eerigaabo, which was inhabited by a tribal agreement of four communities, was recently captured by the Somaliland army together with tribal militias that invaded from the west of Sanaag region, which caused the evacuation of Eerigaabo.
Leader Abdiqadir Firdhiye said that all the people of SSC-Khatomo who lived in Eerigabo were taken out and their houses and lands were divided by the invading militias of Somaliland and he threatened to recapture Eerigabo by military force.
“Tonight, I am telling the people of SSC, wherever they are, to prepare to move to Eerigabo and Sanaag region while it is out of our hands to complete the struggle we have entered into for our land and our destiny,” said the leader of the SSC administration, Abdiqadir Firdhiye.
In any case, both sides of SSC-Khatumo and Somaliland have tribal conflicts and land disputes that have caused various wars that have not been resolved until now and recently there have been opposing actions by the two administrations.
