Mogadishu (KAAB TV) – A statement issued by the government of Somalia stated that a joint bombing operation by the Federal Government of Somalia and the US forces of AFRICOM targeted the ISIS (ISIS) group that is hiding in the Aalimiskaad mountains in the Bari region of the Puntland state of Somalia.
This bombing operation carried out by the American army working with the security agencies of Somalia took place on the evening of February 21 and yesterday on February 22, 2025, and was supported by the Puntland Dervish army to eliminate the Daesh group.
The news from the Somali government said that the early arrival of the operation shows that three members of the Daesh group were killed in the bombings, and no civilians were harmed.
