Garowe (KAAB TV) – The Puntland regional government has made an official decision to use the 50 dollar bill, which has not been used in the past years in the areas of that region.
The use of the 50 dollar bill was stopped after Puntland areas were found to have counterfeit money, which resulted in a period of years in which the administration’s areas did not work with this money.
In a statement issued by the central bank of Puntland, it was decided to re-authorize the use of the 50 dollar bill, and the bank ordered that no special conditions can be attached to the user of the 50 dollar bill.
