]]> MOGADISHU (Kaab TV) – Somalia’s Youth Minister, MP Abdifatah Barre, has called on young people to unite and serve as the foundation for fostering new political leaders in the country.

MP Barre highlighted that Somalia is preparing to transition from clan-based elder selection for political representation to a democratic process where citizens will vote to elect their representatives.

He made these remarks while addressing a forum organized by the Gobsoor Youth group in Mogadishu.

The Somali Youth Forum, known as #Gobsoor, celebrated its 7th anniversary with love poems and speeches delivered by various guests from the government and civil society in Mogadishu.

Farhiyo Lama-Filan, a member of the forum, gave a speech during the celebration held in Mogadishu last night.
