In a statement issued by Somalia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the government expressed concern over repeated attacks on Saudi territory, which the statement said had resulted in civilian deaths and injuries.

Somalia described the reported strikes as violations of international law, stressing that attacks on civilian areas and critical infrastructure endanger regional stability and put civilian lives at risk.

“The Federal Republic of Somalia strongly condemns the attacks carried out by the Houthi group against Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” the ministry said.

The statement reaffirmed Somalia’s opposition to attacks on civilian infrastructure and underscored the importance of protecting regional security and respecting international law.
