Speaking during the announcement, President Deni stated that Puntland forces are on heightened alert and fully prepared for the operation.

“Our forces are at the highest state of readiness. I am confident in the plans and preparations underway. Soon, the people of Puntland will hear good news, God willing,” he said.

President Deni urged Puntland citizens to support the operation, emphasizing the importance of unity in defeating terrorist groups.

“For the first time, I am making this public because we had kept the operation confidential until we were ready. Now, sufficient forces are fully prepared to execute this mission,” he added.

Thousands of Puntland Defense Forces, equipped with armored vehicles and advanced weaponry, are mobilizing for what is described as a comprehensive assault on terrorist hideouts.

Units from the Puntland Darawiish, along with elite counter-terrorism squads, are reported to be in their final stages of preparation for the operation in the Galgala and Almiska Mountains in the Bari region.

Sources indicate that significant deployments have been made to the Kalabayr area of Bari, with troops receiving necessary equipment and supplies to neutralize militant threats.

Reports also suggest that terrorist groups have already fled several villages in the Calmiska area, retreating to mountain hideouts as the operation looms.

This offensive marks one of the largest anti-terror efforts by Puntland in recent years, aiming to dismantle militant networks and restore stability in the region.
