]]> Mogadishu (Kaab TV) – The Court of the Somali Armed Forces has on Saturday morning executed two police officers who were recently convicted on the murder of civilians in Balcad district in the Middle Shabelle Region and in Mogadishu’s Hamarweyne District.

Qasim Duale Abdi, was executed by a firing squad for shooting and killing Abukar Mohamed Sheikh Noorani (Abirimo), a business vendor in Hamarweyne.

The businessman was shot dead on 10 January 2023 over an argument related to extortion demand by the killer officer. A second officer Hassan Julle Shakir, was executed on Saturday for killing Ali Taliye Arif, a young tuk tuk driver.

Both officers were convicted by the military court last month.
