Hargeisa (KAAB TV) – The meeting of the president and members of the House of Representatives of Somaliland was prevented by the first part of the Cabinet of Ministers consisting of 19 Ministers of the WADAJIR and WAXQABAD Government led by President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi.
Also, the purpose of the 19 Ministers before the House of Representatives was that the House fulfills its obligations related to the approval of the members of the House of Ministers, according to the Somaliland Constitution.
All the 19 Ministers who went before the House of Representatives, made brief statements in front of the House related to the priority issues for the development of Somaliland.
The ministers spoke one by one in front of the House of Representatives, and they informed about the plans and the issues they give priority to the Ministries assigned by the President.
On the other hand, the statements made by the 19 ministers in the Assembly were based on the activities of the Government which are related to the NDP-3 Development Plan and the political program of the National Party and its Government WADAJIR and WAX-ABAD.
All the Ministers who appeared before the House of Representatives have requested the General Assembly to approve the positions of Ministers to carry out the important tasks assigned by the President.
Finally, the chairman of the House of Representatives asked the General Assembly to approve the Ministers one by one, which the House approved by a majority vote of all 19 Ministers who opposed the Somaliland House of Representatives.
