Somaliland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdirahman Dahir Adan, has arrived in Washington, D.C., for a high-level visit aimed at strengthening relations with the United States through meetings with U.S. government officials and key American institutions.

The visit is expected to focus on advancing shared interests, deepening diplomatic engagement, and exploring new opportunities for strategic cooperation in areas including security, economic development, investment, and regional stability.

The meetings reflect Somaliland’s continued efforts to expand its international partnerships and strengthen ties with the United States.

Upon arriving in the U.S. capital, Foreign Minister Abdirahman Dahir Adan emphasized the significance of the visit and reaffirmed Somaliland’s commitment to enhancing its relationship with Washington.
