According to a ministerial circular released by the Office of the Minister, the newly formed committee will be responsible for coordinating the administrative setup of the SSC-Khatumo State, which aims to bring governance and services to the region following recent political developments.

The committee will be led by Dr. Ahmednur Mohamed, who has been appointed as Chairman, and Abdinasir Haji Mohamed, serving as Deputy Chairman. The other appointed members are:

The Prime Minister’s visit played a key role in accelerating efforts to formalize the administration in the SSC regions, amid ongoing efforts to stabilize and bring effective governance to areas affected by recent conflict and political uncertainty.
