MOGADISHU (Kaab TV) – The Somali Police Force today presented in Mogadishu two twin brothers who were previously reported to have kidnapped a Member of the Federal Parliament’s House of the People.
The Police Spokesperson, Colonel Abdifatah Aden Hassan, held a press briefing in Mogadishu where he displayed the two brothers, identified as Ibrahim Muse Ibrahim and Yusuf Muse Ibrahim, along with their father. He stated that one suspect related to the case has been arrested.
The police spokesperson dismissed reports claiming that the MP had kidnapped the two boys. Instead, he said the suspect had been handed over to the Attorney General’s Office, while others connected to the case are still being pursued after evidence was retrieved from CCTV footage.
The Somali Police have not yet officially confirmed the individuals involved in the alleged kidnapping of the twin brothers—a story that has circulated widely on social media for weeks, with the boys requesting security agencies to intervene in their situation.
