Mogadishu (KAAB TV) – On Monday, Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdisalam Abdi Ali, conducted separate meetings with the Ambassadors of Türkiye and China in Mogadishu to discuss boosting bilateral relations.
During his meeting with Türkiye’s Ambassador to Somalia, Alper Aktaş, the discussions focused on strategies to further collaboration between the two countries. Both sides examined ways to advance mutual objectives, support joint projects, and solidify long-term partnerships.
Minister Abdisalam also met with China’s Ambassador to Somalia, Wang Yu, for talks aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation.
The discussions emphasized the enduring relationship between Somalia and China, covering areas such as political collaboration, infrastructure development, and educational partnerships.
Somalia and China are set to celebrate the 65th anniversary of their diplomatic ties in December, marking over six decades of friendship and cooperative engagement.
