MOGADISHU (Kaab TV) – Leaders of the country, along with officials from Turkey, are participating in an event at Mogadishu—particularly at the port—to welcome the Çağrı Bey vessel, which is set to extract oil from previously explored wells.
A high-level delegation from Turkey has arrived in Mogadishu, while additional officials are expected to land at Aden Adde International Airport to take part in the استقبال (welcoming ceremony) for the Çağrı Bey ship.
Following the reception, another ceremony will be held later today at Mogadishu Port to officially send off the vessel as it begins its oil drilling operations in Somalia, according to sources close to the matter.
