Kansas (KAAB TV) – The United States is facing a challenging situation as powerful storms have left a trail of destruction across several states, leading to significant losses.
At least 34 people have been confirmed dead, with 12 of those fatalities occurring in Missouri alone. The heavy storm swept through the southeastern states, damaging homes and vehicles.
In Kansas, the storm caused more than eight deaths, with over 55 vehicles involved in crashes as a result of the severe weather.
More than 250,000 homes have been left without power across seven states, including Michigan, Missouri, and Illinois.
Additionally, another intense storm is expected to hit the region, prompting warnings for eastern Louisiana, western Georgia, central Tennessee, and the western Florida Panhandle.
