Garowe (Kaab TV) – Puntland has presented foreign prisoners captured from the ISIS terrorist group during the Calmiskaad operation. These detainees are nationals of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Morocco, Yemen, Syria, and Tanzania.
The number of foreign prisoners has reached approximately fifty (50). Among them, about half (25) are nationals of Ethiopia, a neighboring country of Somalia, as shown in a chart released by the Puntland government.
Morocco ranks second on the list, with nearly ten detainees identified as Moroccan nationals, followed by Yemen and Tanzania.
From Europe, Turkey is represented with two nationals, while among the Gulf countries, one detainee is a citizen of Saudi Arabia.
