According to a press release issued by Puntland’s anti-terrorist organization (@PL_CTOperations), the captured locations were important locations where the extremist group operated, where they were active senior leaders.
The operation shows significant progress in the attacks against terrorists in Puntland, which has intensified in recent weeks. Videos recorded by drones and shared with security officials show Daesh fighters fleeing from their areas in the mountains, and were searched for by Puntland forces.
