Aalimiskaad (KAAB TV) – The Puntland Defense Forces have announced the arrest of three foreign nationals suspected of belonging to the Daesh terror group.

The Puntland Anti-Terrorism Operations Office confirmed that the suspects were apprehended in the valley near Ur-Aleed. Local residents reported seeing the individuals positioned along the road, and upon searching them, ammunition and other items indicating possible affiliation with Daesh were discovered.

According to a statement from the Puntland Armed Forces Anti-Terrorism Operations Office, the investigation is ongoing. The foreign nationals were found with bullets and additional military equipment in their possession, further raising suspicions of their involvement with the extremist group.
