Puntland Defense Forces Intensify Operations to Eliminate Daesh Militants

Aalimiskaad (KAAB TV) – The Puntland Defense Forces continue their operations to track down Daesh militants who have fled from areas previously under the group’s control.

According to army officials, the ongoing mission aims to eradicate the Daesh presence in the region. The forces are particularly focused on locating militants who are known to secretly plant explosives in mountainous areas.

In the course of their operations, the army passed through areas surrounding Toga-Jejeel and Toga Ina Idole, with a focus on Dekhtal, where Daesh terrorists were believed to be hiding.

The Puntland Defense Forces’ command has affirmed its commitment to completely eliminating the Daesh group from the region, emphasizing that its forces are fully prepared to remove the terrorists from Puntland.
