GAROWE (Kaab TV) – Officials from Puntland and Galmudug administrations are holding a meeting in Galkayo in Mudug region, looking for a solution to the conflict between the Lelkase and Saad clans.
The meeting that started on Sunday yesterday is intended to bring the two communities together, so that they can negotiate a ceasefire and then end this conflict.
The renewed conflict in West Mudug has caused many deaths and injuries, and displaced hundreds of families who lived in the areas where the militias of the two communities fought.
This conflict in West Mudug is based on the dispute over the grazing land and the rural areas where both sides always argue.
