Lasaanood (KAAB TV) – Reports from the city of Lasaanood, the administrative center of SSC Khatumo, indicate that a delegation arrived this morning to prepare for the visit of the Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, along with some of his security personnel.
A special plane carrying the delegation and the Prime Minister’s security forces landed at Lasaanood’s airport. The delegation, along with the accompanying security team, was then transported to the locations where Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre is scheduled to stay.
Meanwhile, security forces are conducting investigations and reinforcing security measures at the locations designated for the Prime Minister’s visit. The preliminary delegation is also coordinating the details of Hamse Abdi Barre’s travel plans.
Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre is set to visit Lasaanood, where he is expected to hold various meetings with leaders from the Khatumo administration, intellectuals, and members of the local community.
The Prime Minister’s visit to Lasaanood has generated significant anticipation, though it has also been met with strong opposition. Some have issued warnings about the potential consequences of the visit, given that Lasaanood has previously expelled the Prime Minister from the city.
