Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre Marks Historic Visit in Lasaanood with Speech on Unity and Peace

Lasaanood (KAAB TV) – Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre, currently on his peace and unity tour, participated in a major event in Lasaanood last night. The event, titled “The Night of Prime Minister Hamse and the SSC-Khatumo Community,” was attended by numerous leaders from various levels of government, along with hundreds of local residents.

During the event, Prime Minister Hamse addressed the crowd, emphasizing that the Khatumo administration was established in response to the wishes of the people from the SSC regions. He stated that from that moment onward, they would enjoy the same rights as other regional governments across the country.

“I was both happy and moved by the way you have safeguarded the unity and the flag of the Federal Republic of Somalia. It is a great privilege to see the Blue Flag standing proudly in many parts of the northern regions. We are in a time when the Somali people need peace and unity more than ever. My historic visit to Lasaanood is a symbol of the strengthening unity and solidarity among the Somali people,” Prime Minister Hamse remarked.

Throughout the event, the Prime Minister engaged with local leaders at various levels, as well as cultural figures and the community members in attendance. He expressed his gratitude to the SSC-Khatumo people for their support and commitment to unity within the Federal Republic of Somalia.
