New York (KAAB TV) – President Donald Trump held a private meeting with several Israeli prisoners recently released by Hamas as part of a prisoner exchange agreement between Hamas and Israel. These prisoners regained their freedom after being held captive for a year.
Following the meeting, Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to deliver a strong message to Hamas. He issued a stark warning, demanding that the group immediately release all remaining prisoners, or face severe consequences.
“This is your last warning. It’s time for your leadership to leave Gaza. You still have a chance. The people of Gaza have a bright future, but not if you continue holding prisoners. If you do, your leadership is finished,” Trump stated.
He further emphasized that if Hamas failed to release the prisoners, Israel would take decisive action to dismantle the group entirely. Trump declared, “I am sending Israel everything it needs to complete the mission against Hamas. No member of Hamas will be safe if you don’t comply. Release the prisoners now, or the consequences will be catastrophic.”
In response, Hamas strongly condemned Trump’s comments, accusing the United States of being complicit in the ongoing violence against the people of Gaza.
