Bosaso (Kaab TV) – President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland officially inaugurated the Bosaso football stadium this evening, cutting the ribbon on the newly constructed facility, which has been named in honor of the almiskaad Martyrs.
The inauguration ceremony, attended by hundreds of citizens and government officials, saw President Deni describe the event as a celebration of the achievements and sacrifices associated with the almiskaad struggle. He explained that the stadium was named to commemorate the martyrs of almiskaad.
President Deni also expressed his gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for supporting Puntland in the construction of the modern stadium.
The Bosaso Football Stadium (Shuhaadada) is scheduled to host the opening of the almiskaad Cup on Monday, with teams representing various regional capitals of Puntland set to compete, including Garowe, Bosaso, Galkayo, Qardho, Badhan, Dhahar, Las Anod, Buuhoodle, and Caluula.
