Mogadishu (Kaab TV) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, held a meeting with members of civil society organizations to discuss the overall situation of the country and exchange important recommendations.
Hamza Abdi Barre welcomed the input provided by civil society groups and commended their role in state-building efforts in Somalia, particularly in the establishment of the Third Republic.
The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Moallim, who spoke to the media after the meeting, stated that the country is moving beyond the transitional and interim phase.
Hassan Moallim noted that the Somali people will elect the next government once the current “DanQaran” administration completes its term.
The Chairman of the SONSA umbrella organization, Osman Shaatax, also said that they discussed with the Prime Minister the continuation of dialogue efforts.
In recent days, civil society organizations have held meetings with members of the opposition, focusing on the country’s situation and ways to strengthen dialogue and consultations on the future of the nation.
