Galmudug (Kaab TV) – The Governor of Nugaal, Abdirahman Haji Abshir, has issued a peace appeal to two clans, the Reer Khalaf and Carab Saalax, who are currently engaged in a conflict in the Kalabayr area of Bursaalax district in Mudug region.
The Nugaal Governor called for an immediate cessation of the hostilities, urging that tensions be de-escalated and that the fighting not intensify further.
He also appealed to the elders and community leaders of the area, as well as across Mudug region, to act swiftly to help resolve and contain the conflict.
