Kismayo (KAAB TV) – Jubaland President Ahmed Madobe presented various prizes today to students who secured first place in the Holy Quran competition.
The award ceremony was attended by the President of Jubaland, the two councils of Jubaland, scholars, elders, teachers, parents, students, and members of the community.
During the event, President Ahmed Madobe praised the dedication of the students’ parents and teachers for their role in nurturing students who contribute positively to society.
Abdirisaaq Mohamed Abdi was recognized as the first-place winner among students competing in the 30 Juz of the Quran, with the President awarding him a car as a prize.
The second and third-place winners in the 30 Juz competition also received cars from the President.
Additionally, a special car was presented to a female contestant from the Bardheere district in the Gedo region.
