KISMAYO (Kaab TV) – Jubaland police forces in Dhoobley district have carried out operations targeting individuals involved in the trafficking of various types of narcotics.
The operations were conducted in several neighborhoods across the town.
During the operation, police arrested a number of individuals accused of drug trafficking, while others suspected of drug use were also detained.
Authorities said they seized different types of narcotics, including hashish, alcohol, and other substances found in the possession of those arrested.
Police officials stated that they are still pursuing other suspects believed to be involved in drug trafficking who remain at large.
These actions are part of ongoing efforts by security forces to strengthen the fight against narcotics and to prevent their impact on the community, with the aim of reducing the health, security, and social problems associated with drug use and trafficking.
