Khartoum (KAAB TV) – The Sudanese military has launched a fierce attack on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Khartoum, which appears to have escalated in the past few hours, with the RSF emergency response forces now showing signs of breaking under pressure.
Alongside the ongoing conflict, both air and ground assaults were carried out by the Sudanese military targeting RSF camps and strongholds throughout the city of Khartoum.
In a significant development, reports suggest that the Sudanese military is on the verge of storming the Sudanese presidential building, which serves as the main base for the RSF in the capital.
The military offensive, which began late last night, seems aimed at completely dismantling the RSF presence in the city, as the Sudanese military has effectively blocked any attempts by RSF forces to escape Khartoum.
Despite receiving support from multiple sources, the Sudanese military has made substantial territorial gains across the country. However, the RSF group, now stripped of its external backing, has begun to lose control over key areas, leading to further fragmentation.
