Houthi Forces Threaten to Resume Attacks on Ships Linked to Israel

|

Yemen (KAAB TV) – Yemen’s Houthis have warned of resuming attacks on commercial ships associated with Israel and those heading to ports under their control.

Yahye Saric, spokesperson for the Yemeni Houthi army, declared that they will officially resume strikes on vessels linked to the Israeli government, which has initiated the blockade of Gaza.

Saric also mentioned that the Houthis had passed the deadline they set for Israel to allow aid vehicles into Gaza, vehicles that Israel has blocked from entering Gaza City. Israel has used this blockade as leverage to pressure Hamas into agreeing to a prisoner release deal.

The Houthis have stated that they will cease attacks on Israeli-linked ships if Israeli forces permit the delivery of aid to the suffering people of Gaza.

However, Gaza’s resistance groups swiftly rejected the Houthis’ stance, calling it a bold tactic to pressure Israel and ensure aid reaches Gaza.
