Hirshabelle President Ali Guudlawe Chairs Council of Ministers Meeting, Emphasizes Security and Development Priorities

JOWHAR (KAAB TV) – President of the Hirshabelle State Government, Ali Abdullahi Hussein (Ali Guudlawe), presided over a crucial meeting of the Council of Ministers aimed at reviewing recent developments and expediting government-led projects across the region.

The session began with a detailed security briefing delivered by the Minister of Security, who outlined the current situation in Hirshabelle. The Minister reported ongoing operations aimed at eradicating Khawarij militants from the remaining districts and territories still under their control. The Minister emphasized that technical and operational efforts are underway to ensure the full restoration of peace and security across the region.

Following the security update, the Minister of Health informed the Council about recent advancements in the public health sector. He announced the establishment of new health centers in the cities of Jowhar, Buulo-Burde, and Beledweyne. These facilities are expected to significantly improve access to healthcare services for local communities, addressing long-standing challenges in medical service delivery.

The Minister of Finance and Economic Development also presented a comprehensive report on financial management practices and the status of development projects. The report covered budget execution, project coordination, and fiscal planning, underscoring the importance of transparency and accountability in public finance.
