GAROWE (KAAB TV) – More news is coming out about heavy bombings that took place last night in the area of Shebaab in the Aalmiskaad mountains in the Bari region.
A press release from the command of the joint operations in the Bari region said that the attacks targeted members of Daesh in the Shebaab area.
According to the statement, 30 Daesh members were killed in the operation, most of them foreigners, while the vehicles of the members were destroyed.
“Two bombings took place in the Shabaab area of Calmiskad village. More than 30 Daesh terrorists, mostly foreigners, were killed when they were hit by a vehicle carrying supplies,” said the statement from Puntland.
The statement from Puntland said that the number of members killed in the operations in the Bari region reached more than 200 Daesh members, and they will be strengthened.
Somalia’s international friends, such as the United States, have previously carried out airstrikes several times in mountainous areas in the eastern region where the war between Punland and Daesh is ongoing.
