During the operation, the forces conducted landmine clearance searches to ensure the safety of roads and key locations used by civilians and vehicles.
The objective of the operation was to prevent attacks by terrorist groups, which frequently plant roadside explosives targeting civilians and security forces.
Officials leading the mission emphasized that such operations play a vital role in rebuilding public confidence and ensuring that business activities and public movement can continue safely.
The military command reaffirmed its commitment to continuing security operations until the areas are fully secured.
These operations come at a time when the Federal Government has intensified efforts to strengthen security across the country, particularly in areas where Al-Shabaab militants are present.
