Fahad Yassin Warns Somalia’s President Against Dangerous Plan During Djibouti Visit

|

Djibouti (KAAB TV) – The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, recently met with his Djibouti counterpart, Ismail Omar Guelleh, to discuss various issues, some of which remain undisclosed.

Meanwhile, Fahad Yassin Haji Dahir, the former commander of Somalia’s National Security and Intelligence Agency, issued a warning to President Hassan Sheikh, advising him not to accept a potentially dangerous plan reportedly linked to the government of Qatar.

In a statement, Fahad Yassin emphasized that world leaders from independent nations do not accept involvement in wars they are not part of, and he specifically warned against agreeing to Djibouti’s request, the details of which remain unspecified.

“We are cautioning the Head of State not to accept the request from the Government of Djibouti, which is based on pressure and blame — it should be removed from your shoulders,” Fahad Yassin said.

He further added, “This message may be deeply understood by the Heads of State. However, if that request is implemented (God forbid), the entire Somali nation will understand what I am referring to. I hope wisdom prevails and that it does not go further.”

As of now, the nature of the dangerous plan that Fahad Yassin warned against has not been officially revealed. This warning comes during President Hassan Sheikh’s visit to Djibouti for talks with his counterpart.
