Ethiopian Consular Officer Killed in Lasanood Under Mysterious Circumstances

Mogadishu (KAAB TV) – Reports from Lasanood, the administrative capital of SSC-Khatumo, confirm that an Ethiopian consular officer based in Garowe has been killed under suspicious circumstances.

Farah Aidiid Jama (also known as Baris), a security expert and one of the officers serving at the Ethiopian consulate in Garowe, was reportedly abducted from his residence in Lasanood on the night of the incident.

His body was later discovered in the Gojacade valley with signs of gunshot wounds and evidence of torture. His mobile phone was reportedly taken before his death.

As of now, the SSC-Khatumo administration has not released an official statement regarding the killing of the senior Ethiopian official.
