JAPAN (Kaab TV) – An earthquake measuring 7.5 magnitude struck northeastern Japan, injuring more than 30 people and So far no deaths have been reported.

According to Japan’s Meteorological Agency, the earthquake affected an area spanning 80 kilometers, including parts of the Aomori Prefecture coastline, as detailed in their initial report.

Authorities issued strong warnings to the public after forecasts indicated that the quake could impact a wide region. This prompted many residents to evacuate their homes, which is believed to have helped reduce the level of casualties.

Many houses have been left without electricity, as power was intentionally cut to prevent further harm. Train services have also been suspended due to concerns about possible risks along the railway routes.
