Donald Trump Will be The 47th President of USA Today

WASHINGTON (KAAB TV) – Donald J. Trump was sworn in today as the 47th President of the United States, after his victory in the November election last year.

Today’s event marks the end of four controversial and troubled years in office, including assassination attempts and several serious legal cases.

Mr. Trump will be sworn in today inside the Rotunda of the United States Congress, instead of outside, citing the cold weather in Washington, D.C. This will be the first indoor swearing-in event in 40 years.

There are also several famous people from the “tech bros,” including Elon Musk, who is a close friend of Mr. Trump, the CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg, and Shou Zi Chew, the director of TikTok, which came from the US ban on the TikTok app and was closed for hours before the presidential candidate announced that he would suspend the ban.

Trump has sent invitations to several world leaders, including Xi Jinping of China, Javier Milei of Argentina, and Giorgia Meloni of Italy, making him the first president to do so of the presidential candidate who does this.

Trump also promised to sign nearly 100 executive orders on his first day in office, vowing to make sure “the recession closes and ends four years of recession in America.”

He added: “We’re going to give him the best day, the biggest week, and the most amazing percentage of the first 100 days of a presidency in American history.”

This evening will conclude with a series of festivities across Washington, D.C.

Today’s swearing-in ceremony is very different from that of Mr. Biden in 2021. At that time, security was tightened due to the riots that occurred on January 6, while the COVID-19 epidemic also greatly limited the population of the area.
