Tomorrow, Thursday, will be observed as a day of silence to allow for preparation ahead of voting, in accordance with the official election timetable.

Observer delegations, largely composed of representatives from Djibouti’s international partners and organizations of which it is a member, have arrived in the country. They will assess the voting process and monitor key aspects of the election.
