The Commander of the Somali National Army (SNA), Major General Ibrahim Mohamed Mahmoud, held a key meeting with China’s Ambassador to Somalia, Wang Yu, to discuss strengthening defense cooperation between the two countries.

China has been an important partner in Somalia’s reconstruction efforts, providing assistance in infrastructure, education, health, and capacity-building programs.
