Mogadishu (Kaab TV) – The Office of the Attorney General has announced that it has formally launched an investigation into allegations that Somali citizen Abdifitah Ahmed Hussein was unlawfully denied boarding on a Turkish Airlines flight, in a case that reportedly involves abuse of authority and violations of constitutional rights.
According to an official press release, the primary individual under investigation is Turahan Kenmen, the Turkish Airlines Station Manager in Somalia.
The statement alleges that Kenmen may have exercised unauthorized and abusive powers in his treatment of passengers, with Abdifitah’s case highlighted as a key example.
The Attorney General’s Office confirmed that immediately after receiving the complaint and the accompanying incident report, it opened a formal case file. Investigators are now gathering evidence and reviewing the circumstances surrounding the alleged misconduct.
The statement further emphasized that appropriate legal measures will be taken once the investigation has been completed and the facts are fully established.
