Angry People Held Demonstrations in Kismayo and Accused MD Hassan of Hating Certain Areas

Kismayo (KAAB TV) – There was a demonstration today in Kismayo, the KMG headquarters of the Jubbaland administration, which was attended by hundreds of people, which was against the sanctions imposed by the Federal Government on the city of Kismayo.

Also, the people who were protesting were shouting words in support of the Jubbaland administration and also words against the federal government of Somalia, especially President Hassan Sheikh and Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre.

On the other hand, some of the people who spoke at the demonstration accused the Federal Government of imposing sanctions on the city of Kismayo, especially in terms of travel, and they called on the government to withdraw its decision to harass the people of the city.

Some of the people also called on President Hassan Shreekh Mohamud to resign, and pointed out that he has failed to lead the Somali people, accusing him of backwardness and hatred towards certain areas.

However, the federal government of Somalia has imposed restrictions on the Jubbaland administration led by Ahmed Madobe, the government has blocked the flights to Kismayo, it has also suspended the grants given to the administration and the projects to be implemented in Jubbaland.
