Abdirashid Janan Addresses Security Forces in Doolow

The former Jubbaland Security Commander and current Regional Security Chief, Abdirashid Janan, delivered a speech this morning to the Hilaac Brigade security forces operating in Doolow district and its surrounding areas.

Janan addressed the forces at a time when security forces in Gedo region are carrying out operations and efforts to strengthen security in areas along the borders and locations where these forces operate.

While addressing the forces, Janan said that the primary enemy of the security forces is terrorist groups, calling on the forces to continue their duty of maintaining security and protecting civilians.

He also said that anyone who stands against peace in the area or harms civilians would be recognized as an enemy of peace, stressing the importance of security forces protecting civilians and their property.

The commander praised the Hilaac Brigade forces for the demanding work they are carrying out in Doolow district and other areas of Gedo region.

Janan said the forces bear an important responsibility related to maintaining security, urging them to further strengthen operations against armed groups and those disrupting security in the area.

He also told the forces that their entitlements would be provided in the coming days, describing this as an important matter for forces who have long been engaged in maintaining security.

The Hilaac Brigade is among the security forces operating in parts of Gedo region, particularly Doolow district and nearby areas.
