Kismayo (KAAB TV) – The security forces of Jubbaland carried out an operation in the Farjano neighborhood of Kismayo city and arrested a woman who killed her husband last night in that city, after using poison to kill the lions.
A statement from the Jubbaland Police said that this woman named Sahra Hussein Mohamed poisoned her husband Abdullahi Abdirahman Abukar’s drink and then gave it to him, he died in the conspiracy.
“The Command of the Lower Jubba Regional Police Division arrested Sahra Hussein Mohamed who killed her husband Abdullahi Abdirahman Abukar Halay in the town of Kismayo in the Farjano neighborhood of the Department of Tourism,” the statement said.
It was also added that “Sahra added lion poison to her wife’s drink which she bought for him, which caused him to vomit.”
On the other hand, Dhame Shukri Farah Duale, one of the officials of Jubbaland who explained the incident to the media, said that they are still investigating, and that the accused woman will be brought before the court, so that action can be taken.
Sahra Hussein Mohamed, whose photos were shown to the public, was the wife of the deceased, and she gave birth to several children.
These horrific incidents have been increasing in recent years in the country, and the last one happened a few weeks ago in Mogadishu, after a man took a knife and slaughtered his wife in Hamarjajab district of Banadir region.
